National Stakeholder Workshop on Sustainable Agriculture – Join Us in Vienna on July 8, 2025

Are you passionate about shaping the future of sustainable farming and circular food systems? Whether you’re a farmer, policymaker, researcher, industry professional, or advocate for the environment, we warmly invite you to join us in Vienna on July 8, 2025, for the National Stakeholder Workshop on Sustainable Agriculture.
This unique gathering, organised by Proman alongside the EU projects NutriBudget, DeliSoil, and FOLOU, is your chance to connect with experts and peers across sectors, exchange ideas, and explore practical solutions to today’s biggest challenges in agriculture. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of the conversation driving change toward more resilient, circular, and sustainable food systems.
The day will kick off with registration and a warm welcome from 9:30 to 10:00. The morning session will spotlight NutriBudget, where you’ll hear about groundbreaking work on optimising nutrient management with smart decision-support tools. After an inspiring keynote, PROMAN will share early findings on the legal and financial landscapes shaping sustainable nutrient practices. Then, dive into dynamic group discussions focused on nature-based solutions, precision agriculture, bio-based fertilizers, and sustainable feed. This collaborative exchange will set the tone for an energising day.
Post-lunch, the spotlight turns to DeliSoil, where we are turning food industry waste into valuable fertilizers and soil improvers. PROMAN will showcase innovative examples from the project, followed by a lively panel featuring voices from the Austrian Ministry of Agriculture, RWA Raiffeisen Ware Austria AG, Smart Village Knežica, and the food industry. Together, inspiring stories and practical insights will be shared from the frontline of circular bioeconomy initiatives.
After a brief coffee break, the workshop concludes with FOLOU, which tackles the often-overlooked issue of food losses in primary production. PROMAN will outline the legal frameworks and share lessons from Catalonia and Austria. Participants will then explore how different actors—from farmers to policymakers—can collaborate to reduce food losses, with a closing discussion to wrap up the day’s learnings.
The workshop will be held in German, and the full agenda is available in both German and English. Whether you’re an experienced stakeholder or new to these topics, your voice matters!
