DeliSoil attends Soils for Europe 2026

DeliSoil is heading to the Soils for Europe 2026 Conference in Coimbra, Portugal!

Next week, the DeliSoil team will be attending the Soils for Europe Conference, where we’ll showcase the project’s results and exchange knowledge on innovative approaches to soil health and sustainable soil management.

Visit our booth, next to our sister project Waste4Soil, where project partners will present the latest results and innovations developed through the project.

The project partners will also be contributing to several sessions throughout the conference including:

• 9 September | Session 1 – Quantifying sustainability and impacts of solutions for soil management and health. Poster: 11:30–12:30 “Mitigating nutrient depletion in soils: microbial biofertilizer and grape pomace biochar to enhance crop resilience” presented by Simone Baldassa (CINSA)

• 9 September | Session 1.2 – Reduce soil degradation and strengthen soil resilience in vulnerable territories. Oral presentation: 14:00“Assessing soil health impacts of recycled soil improvers and bio-based fertilizers in a Danish Living Lab field trial” presented by Veronika Hansen (University of Copenhagen)

• 9 September | Session 8.2 – Enhance soil biodiversity. Oral presentation: 15:50–16:00 “Boosting Soil Biodiversity through Circular Bioeconomy Practices: Soil Health Biomarkers Assessment following Bio-Based Soil Improver Application” presented by Annamaria Bevivino (ENEA)

• 9 September | Session 11.1 – New technologies and innovations to enhance soil health. Oral presentation: 16:30 “From Data Mining to Molecular Ecology: A Multi-Scale Approach to Soil Health” presented by Lorenzo Nolfi (ENEA)

• DeliSoil partners will also be collaborating with the MULTISOIL project during the conference and will be attending the Bin2Bean final meeting

The activities highlighted above represent only part of DeliSoil’s involvement in the conference. Our partners will be contributing to further presentations, sessions and activities throughout the event, providing additional opportunities to showcase the project’s work and results.
