DeliSoil participates in Maker Faire Academy 2026

We were proud to see DeliSoil featured at the “Bioeconomy 5.0: Bio-based Materials and New Industrial Models” event, held on February 25, 2026, at Lazio Innova’s Spazio Attivo Rieti.

As part of the Maker Faire Academy 2026 series, the event brought together key actors from research, industry, and regional ecosystems to explore how circular bioeconomy and 5.0 technologies can drive sustainable economic value. Discussions focused on the development and application of bio-based materials derived from renewable biological resources.

ENEA’s Annamaria Bevivino presented DeliSoil’s vision of transforming food by-products into high-value soil improvers, aiming to enhance soil health, prevent degradation, and support resilient, productive ecosystems.

PhD candidate Lorenzo Nolfi (University of Tuscia) shared promising preliminary findings on the microbiological characterization of these amendments and their ecological impact, highlighting the importance of data-driven approaches for real-world optimization.

Through ENEA’s participation, DeliSoil continues to strengthen collaboration between research institutions, local businesses, and stakeholders, helping turn innovative ideas into practical solutions for regenerative agriculture.
