DeliSoil at RAMIRAN 2025

DeliSoil was represented at the RAMIRAN 2025 Conference, held at Wageningen University & Research, where experts from across Europe gathered to discuss the sustainable management and recycling of organic resources.

As part of the programme, Andrea Bauerle presented a poster on DeliSoil, highlighting how waste-derived materials can improve soil quality and promote circularity in agricultural systems. The presentation showcased DeliSoil’s innovative approach to turning organic residues into valuable resources that support soil health and climate resilience. This poster is available here or on the DeliSoil project results page.

The conference also featured a series of inspiring excursions, including visits to UniFarm & AlgaePark and a human urine valorisation plant, where participants could see practical examples of nutrient recovery and resource efficiency. These visits provided valuable insights into how research and technology are shaping real-world applications of the circular bioeconomy.

RAMIRAN 2025 offered an engaging platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and collaboration. The DeliSoil team returned with new perspectives, fruitful connections, and inspiration to continue advancing research on soil regeneration and sustainable resource use.

Participation in events like RAMIRAN reflects DeliSoil’s commitment to engaging with the wider European research community and contributing to the shared goal of building resilient, circular, and climate-smart agricultural systems.
